The battle of Yorktown in the fall of 1781 where, with the assistance of France’s naval strength, his troops forced a surrender of the British? Or with his initial defeats during the Seven Years War, perhaps to highlight the importance of resilience, learning, personal development?

When we look at Economic policies, we tend to focus on what we can measure, what we can observe, what we can quantify. And while the recent development of textual analysis has broadened the sources that we can consider, we often hold back from discussing the importance of how these policies are implemented, how they get carried out, how they get initiated.
